Mrs. Brandow
This will be my 28th year of teaching. I am extremely excited to begin our 2020/2021 school year. Last year having to end our school year virtually was tough for most of us and I am extremely happy to have students in the school building once again!
I graduated from Grand Valley State University and began my teaching career at Mason County Central. I taught grades 5-8 at their middle school in a self-contained special education classroom. I then taught for the next nine years at Fruitport MiddleSchool teaching 8th grade special education. Then I spent 12 years teaching fifth grade general education at Shettler Elementary. I am excited to be back teaching special education at Fruitport middle school.
My husband, Chad, also teaches at Muskegon High School and is the Fruitport Boys Varsity Track Coach. We have two children. Our daughter, Felicia, is 26 and is a social worker for Oceana County. Our son, Cameron, is 22 and is a USPS worker.
I truly enjoy sports and love watching Fruitport events. If my students provide me with a sports schedule, I will make every attempt to attend one of their sports events.
